It is great to see all of us honor our good friend Dan DeGuzman or Kuya Dan to many of us. In 2015, he has this vision that we put together an organization of Seniors whose purpose is to assist one another in good or bad times, a “genuine camaraderie” . With his motivation and support of the now members, it became a reality… the PhilAmSeniors of Henderson is now in operation (www.PhilAmSeniors.Org).
It was built by the leadership of Dan and friends; friends who on a daily basis converge outside of a Catholic Church in Henderson, Nevada, called the “BusStop” There are these couple of bench seats that we relax and brainstorm whatever is happening around the world. In that BusStop, we laugh, we cry, we plan, we work together as one, and here we are now, solid as a rock, enjoying good times, supporting each other in bad times, and most of all…our togetherness in the faith with the Good Lord Our God.
