The PhilAm Senior Group, inspite of Pandemic 19 will not forget how to solemly celebrate the Holy Week in their native land, no matter what island, Luzon, Visaya and Mindanao, they sang the agony of Jesus from Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit, to Crucifixion, Jesus is nailed to the cross and dies for our sins.
The group, made some changes on how it is done, to accommodate all members. Instead of starting the Mahal na Pasyon on Holy Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. March 31 and all 3 days until Good Friday, April 2 to finish the 213 pages Pasyon Mahal book, we started February 25 and try to complete at least 8 pages or more a day. Being the first day last night they did very well. Thank you to Luz, Jun B, Jun I. Tonight, we will have more participants, Letty, Renee, Nday Mimi, Butch, Cely, Flora, Rey, Dan, Hedy and hopefully Gonzalo too.
For your information, zoom rosary, Pasyon Mahal is every night at 5:45 p.m. On Wednesdays, being Mother of Perpetual Help, day we will pray the Novena. During Lent, on Fridays we also pray the Stations of the Cross and on first Fridays we will pray Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
